Mein Mann ist US-Soldat und hier in Deutschland stationiert seit 1999.
Von Mai 2003 bis Mai 2004 war er im Irak stationiert, hier sind Auszüge aus seinen tagebuch einträgen.Der Text ist in Englisch könnte es übersetzten möchte ich aber nicht.



13 Mai 2003
We left for Kuwait today, I hate leaving my Wife,Puppy and the baby that is on the way.
Slept on the airplane. First day of hell.
14 Mai 2003
First Day in Kuwait and I already hate it .I am so hot
I have never been so hot, to much sand , no clouds trees or water
I want to forget about this place already.

Played cards all day,was able to talk to my wife and God do I miss her
so much and puppy and the baby.
Went to bed late.
19 Mai 2003
Started a new book today" FRom teh corner of his eye"
talk to my wife I LOVE YOU. Did nothing the rest of the day.

Had Guard Duty from12-6 and 6-12. Talked to my loving wife.
Fell a sleep on Duty.
23 Mai 2003
Got in trouble for falling a sleep on Guard duty, had to fill 400
sandbags,took all day. talk to my wife , read on my book.
Went to bed late.

Our 2 Year wedding aniversary,the best two years out of my life
and only more to come.

Left for Iraq today, all I could think of is my wife, puppy, the baby and my family.got to out 2nd final stop at 3.30 in the morning.

Was up at 7 am . God I miss my wife so much.Got to our Camp in Iraq.
Found out we can´t use the phone to call our loved once.
I am mad as hell.Set up out stuff. 22nd days of hell.
Can it get better.When can we go home?
